Power Flushing
Christopher G Smith offer power flushing services to customer across the South Nottingham area, including Beeston, Long Eaton and West Bridgford.
Some indications that suggest you may need your heating system power flushed:
Your radiators take a long time to heat up
Your radiators are cold, particularly at the bottom
When you bleed a radiator you get discoloured water from it
Your heating system has started to make strange noises
Here at Christopher G Smith we are competent to assess and carry out a power flush on your system. To confirm your system needs cleaning we test the following and then agree with you the best approach.
- Number of diluted solids in the system. Low levels of diluted solids can often be dealt with by a chemical flush. However higher levels require a form of power flush to clear it out.
- The PH of the water within your radiators. 6.5 to 8.5 is considered good. Any higher than 8.5 shows high alkaline levels that are in danger of coursing electrolysis, and any lower than 6.5 shows levels of acidity are at risk of corroding metals within your system.
We are so confident of the impact of what we do, a second set of tests are completed to show you the before and after results.
