It’s always a good idea to get your boiler serviced once per year for the following reasons:

The main reason for boiler break downs within the UK is poor water quality within the heating and hot water system. Here at Christopher G Smith we take water quality seriously. With every service we test your water quality for
Number of diluted solids in the system. These can cause blockages and poor heat from radiators.
The PH of the water within your radiators. 6.5 to 8.5 is considered good however any higher than 8.5 shows acidity levels that are in danger of corroding metals, and any lower than 6.5 shows the levels of alkaline are at risk of coursing electrolysis within your system.
If we discover any issues we can take preventative action, before it leaves you without heating and or hot water. As the saying goes prevention is always better than the cure.
